Of course it is mired in turmoil! Musk is a right wing fascist that defends the likes of Putin and thinks that surrendering democracy and freedoms to dictators will somehow lead to peaceful world. He turned Twitter into right-wing disinformation platform. No wander all advertisers left!

Musk is smart.
He knows that by tacking right he could access a market of rightists that will give up their credit card details and subscribe for the X messaging/payment Chinese style super app.
Enjoy your free speech.

"mired in turmoil" is laughable!
He is just fine I'm sure about that.

Another smear article about Musk and X.
Joe Blow
"X" was such a dumb move. Nobody calls it that, and every article still refers to it as "X, the platform formerly known as Twitter" lol

Inclined to believe it's not as bad as it's being made out to be. A lot of these X detractors, some mentioned in the article, have an axe to grind with Musk.
Check out Mastodon, Bluesky, Threads. Graveyards. Way too soon to be heralding Twitter's death knell.
I don't actually use X all that much myself because JapanToday is the only news source I need :D

twitter has become a cesspool for breeding hate and conspiracy theories. I quit and my mood is so much better.

Thank dog I have never been tempted to join any media platform, and judging from what I read it is the right choice.

That hair is amazing considering he was balding in college. Go X!
NotThe One
In the last year, X has lost 15% of its members and lost all of its money.
It is so bad the neither Musk nor its current leader, Linda Yaccarino, even visits the office. They are like rats jumping off a sinking ship, but also avoiding their employees because of the failures in leadership and no real answers for the staff.
Those two are also tired of the staring glares of disapproval/disappointment from the employees.
NotThe One
LOL, go! Whoever his hair surgent was!

Especially since a significant part of that cost are loans that banks are on the hook for.

There's another one at the link below. Smeared for a good reason it would seem.

What part of the article is "smearing" Musk?
albaleo
"smearing" may not be the most accurate word, but in a Scottish context, describing Humza Yousaf as a racist would generally be seen as a stupid opinion. He's anything but. As one of the comments on the article said, "Being disliked by Musk is a badge of honor. Wear it with pride Humza."

Remember, Elon did NOT want to buy Twitter and was legally forced to. And why to Trump people love Elon so much but at the same time they hate electric cars and are the type of person to roll coal and harass Teslas and Hybrids? It's really strange.
Trump people think that Hillary is the head of the shadow government persecuting Musk.

Ironically, for peanuts, in under a year, he could have forked an e-mail client, added social media style presentation for rich content and rolled it out as a distributed alternative to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and the messaging apps. It could have offered entirely unrestricted content, or personalised, self-censored content, satisfying all users. And he could have monetised it with consensual advertising. The overheads would have been tiny. If anyone wants to, they still can.

Greedy bankers will learn the hard like they did with Trump. Continue to back their schemes, and the banks will continue to lose money.

A lot of people stopped using Twitter nowadays because it's pretty much unusable now unless you register and logged in while viewing it
For instance, unless you register and login, an account's Twitter posts are sorted by "most views" (instead of chronological order) - even if those posts are years old! How useful is, say, an 8-year-old post as the first thing you can read just because it's most-viewed back in the day?! And there's no chronological order to make sense of the list of posts - it jumps from different date to different date! People and businesses could create new posts, but other people and customers won't see it as the "latest" post because as a new post it won't have "most views". Plus you can't also see the replies, so you can't follow what's going on!
That's what's causing people to stop visiting Twitter - it lost a lot of its usefulness (whatever it ever had) due to all the changes

Elon Musk is actually one of the stupidest men on Earth.

Like his god trump, Muskrat wants the whole Galaxy but he can't have it. He's been sucking up to dictators like trump has and in the end he will lose.
