They should pose restrictions on this company in the west. All these huge companies are closely allied with the CCP. Using their services only empowers the CCP.

I can't see this happening. For starters, Xi has to sign off on it. Even then, the US will apply pressure on nations to block it, and these nations' own governments will want their domestic start-ups to take a bigger slice of the domestic pie.
The movement of people, goods and data across borders may be ending. People first (tourism, migrant labour), goods (endless new rules, blocks and sanctions) and data (your internet may soon end at your national borders).

And people will be foolish / uninformed enough to buy the counterfeit junk sold on Alibaba while having their personally identifiable information stolen and sold to all and sundry. One side of me almost hopes they succeed. The idiots who patronize Alibaba deserve what they get, and don't get, lol. A sucker born every minute and two more born to take their money.
