"International Data Corporation last week said that Apple’s freshly launched smart watch was a hot commodity in the second quarter of this year."
I forget who it was who said that it would be a complete flop... who was that again? How's the crow taste?
Anyway, no surprise Android is copying Apple again, following in its footsteps, and even having to create models that need to incorporate IOS because it's far more popular and easier to use. And meanwhile, while they toddle behind Apple Apple will unveil new stuff and updates next week. The new phones will just be 'S' models of iPhone 6, but they are rumoured to have some pretty nifty updates -- which Android will soon copy, full of security holes, etc.

no surprise Android is copying Apple again and yet Android runs 80% of the worlds smartphones while Apple is only 14% and said to drop further in the coming years, Android seems to be doing something right.

Oh dear. Those smart watches have no practical use that gives you more possibilities than owning a smartphone. It's a book case of market creating demand for a product which wouldn't be popular otherwise.

What a BS comparison. Apple hardware and OS vs Android OS. Remember the phones running Android come from countless manufacturers... the phones running iOS come from a single manufacturer. How many single manufacturers can say they have 14% of the market... maybe Samsung can but that would be it, and that's on high end phones and budget handsets.

no need to garbage an operating software that dominates the world market, if Apples OS was that good everybody would want to use it , supply and demand, much larger demand for Androids OS than Apples simple really

It's not really an apples-to-apples comparison. Android is an OS, Apple is a brand. iPhones run on one brand's phones, Android runs on any brand's phones.
Compare an iphone 6 to any other model of phone, and you'll get a more accurate comparison.
Sure they do. My phone doesn't take my heartbeat. I use my watch at the gym every day to track my workouts. I can send emails from my watch using my voice, while riding my bike. I can change the album I'm listening to, using my watch, while riding my bike. These are things I can't do with my phone. There are a whole lot of other things I can do with my watch that I can also do with my phone, but are quicker and easier to do with my watch.
In all honest, I don't think the Apple Watch is worth the money that it costs. But ignoring that (the money wasn't really an issue for me), I have zero complaints with it, and am quite happy with it.
You realize that argument goes the other way right - if Android as that good, everyone would want to use it.
Of course, it's not actually a logical argument, due to the fact that not everyone chooses their phone by OS. And both Android and iOS are really good operating systems.
