Lol, when people were IMing each other even though our rooms are next door (now there's TXTing for that)

Very nostalgic. Used to use AIM's voice messaging back in the 90s and early naughties in lieu of long-distance phone calls. My NTT bill was slashed massively!
Yahoo Messenger was good for that, too.
