Is Apple lack of foresight or something? Samsung and such had been moving their production lines to somewhere else (Vietnam, India, etc.) for a long time. I think it took them about 10 years and it recently just closed its last factory in China. Not because of the tariff, but more due to the rising cost of labor.

Apple went down when Steve Jobs left in the 1980's then returned and brought it back up.. He's since left for good and expect Apple to trend down again. I don't find Apple exciting anymore or any tech company. The smart phone market has matured.

Apple has such large profit margins - they can afford to absorb the tariff costs
It's just a question of will - are they willing to do it

I have been hearing the exact opposite, to me they seem to be looking at options outside China, but with the volumes of stuff they need made .... its not an over night thing
I think a lot of companies will be looking to get out of China and for more than just tariffs
