Didn't he make the mistake of associating Tim Cook with Android ? I guess, this was his way of correcting that... Tim "Apple" Cook.

Prime example of how Apple don't care about standards, they just invented their own unapproved unicode character, of course it doesn't work on other devices because it is not a standard.

The character uses one of the unicode values that is set aside for private use. So I think it follows the standards - no approval is needed for those values. I believe the Windows logo and even the Linux mascot can be displayed with some fonts using values in the private use area.

In the official transcript of the meeting , the words "Tim" and "Apple" are separated by a dash as if Trump had paused, possibly to thank both the executive and the company.

The veneer of success must be preserved. Mistakes must not be tolerated. Resistance is futile.
