Apple may steal Netflix streaming crown, but only for a year

I like the idea that it'll only be $5/month for Apple TV and hopefully will encourage cheaper rates.

But i don't like the proliferation of streaming sites since many movies and shows are going to be compartmentalized and be accessible to whichever streamer owns the rights to them.

With only one or two major streamers, many of the movies/shows you want to watch are accessible w/o paying extra money.

Apple Inc's move to offer a free TV+ subscription for a year with every new device 

Being signed up for it and actually using it are different things. It may give them a lot streamers but active users is another thing.

but a very good bold move by Apple to offer a whole year free if you buy a new Apple device. A lot of people buy a new phone every 2 years so ...

People have often said Apple was all about high prices etc but this year a cheaper iPhone (even with tarrifs) and now a whole year of Apple TV+ free wow

Apple wont offer any shows that depict violence.. so I guess that cuts out the likes of Most top Grossing movies.....

A Goldman Sachs analyst also wrote a rather interesting review upon how he felt Apple's accounting practice for the new Service will contribute towards its bottom line.... make up your own mind on that one.
