remember when google first started, the motto was “do no evil.” eric schmidt became ceo and got in bed with every government 3 letter abbreviation. dropped that silly motto like a hot bowl of ramen.

Musk is jealous and angry because he has been shut out of the cool kid table. They are cool kids because they provide quality products without lying or without scamming the public with drug-fueled promises.

The current cool kids at Google Apple Amazon OpenAi and Microsoft treats Musk like Musk treats Maezawa.

You want to trust Altman with your data? Scarlett Johansson didn't want her voice used, they did anyway....

Musk on the other hand uses legally obtained data to train FSD, and is so far tge only AI application actually delivering utility. I don't like the $56 billion dollar man, but can't fault him for not trusting Altman.

Even Beta FSD is already safer than human driver (many times safer), and Tesla has the data to prove it.

Not a problem if you can turn it off. If it is baked into the OS and you cannot turn it off, avoid it. Use something else.

You obviously didn't see the keynote. Apple Intelligence is run on device and then if it requires more compute, it goes to a private and secure cloud, run by Apple.

Only if you want to send data to ChatGPT, you can, and you are alerted of the fact. But it isn't the central part of Apple Intelligence.

Considering Apple cancelled Apple car, and now partnering to get AI, I'd say they can't do AI on their own. Vision Pro is promising but too expensive. Did you watch WWDC? All hype, VisionOS 2.0 ROTFL, version jump for adding a gesture? The most impressive part of the stream was calculator for ipad, yes, ipad DID NOT have a calculator app before ??? That's Tim Cook.

I don't care stocks went up after I sold, still made decent profit.

They are open to other 3rd party AI vendors and OpenAI won't be the last. It's giving choice to their customers.
