Belarus and Russia need to be alone in the world.
I feel bad for countries dependent on Russia for food and fuel. It will be very tough.
Russia has just announced they won't launch UK satellites on Friday unless some demands are met. The demands cannot be met in the time allowed and the Brits won't anyway. Basically, Russia is holding 40-ish satellites as hostages. The UK should look into remote detonation of the satellites - hopefully taking the rocket with that "accidental failure."
Has MSFT done the same?
Computer gaming companies worldwide need to shut off access to Russian clients while the invasion is still happening. SONY, Nintendo, MSFT, Valve, and all eSports need to stop working.

The plan is to only buy Huawei from china.

Finally Russia catches a break. No Apple products. What a relief. Apple is just a rip off in my opinion. I wont go near their products with a ten foot pole. If you really wanted to punish Russia you would flood them with Apple products and triple the prices.

The oligarchs have already started to put bounties on Putin.
If Russia stops fighting,
…there’s no war.
If Ukraine stops fighting,
…there’s no Ukraine.

Haha, like also in China they in Putin’s Russia just don’t take care of those own oligarchs if the wind starts to blow into face. They can become famous and super rich and the next day all possession confiscated, land in prison or even get killed without any announcement beforehand. No one really cares, not the poor average people nor the governments there.

It's going to be hard taking Putin out although not impossible, the guy is like all dictators extremely paranoid and as a former KGB officer, he is deep-down a survivalist and this guy will only allow the most trusted people around him. I am quite sure he thought ahead about all the possible ways that people would try and take him out and took some contingency measures, but even madmen like him as cautious as they try to be will slip sooner or later. He has a target on Zulenskyy's back and the world has one on Putin's.

It seems a tad counterproductive to cede Western market share to either Chinese or even domestic (Russian) producers. Not like the Russians won't still have phones or cinema. These sorts of voluntary withdrawals from the Russian market seem like an attempt to encourage a popular revolt against Putin, but I can't help but feel like it has a serious chance of doing the opposite and galvanizing support if normal Russians are made to feel 'under attack'. Regardless it certainly flies in the face of that old claim that trade and cultural exchange would naturally lead to liberalization in countries like China and Russia.

Oh, so you think morality should be trumped by capitalistic financial motivations.
Got it.

I'm actually saying that from a mercantilist perspective this actually helps Russia's economy if anything. Not that I accept your inherent claim that it's immoral to sell consumer goods to Russian citizens to begin with.

China-backed bank halts lending to Russia, Belarus - Japan Today

Then the Russian hackers will figure out how to hack china phones and servers. Good.

Unfortunately, Russians will not be able to afford cellphones by the summer the way their economy is headed.
Strangerland
No it doesn't. Crashing their economy only hurts them.
It's immoral to have any relations with Russia right now.
