Good news for American companies. Bought my wife an iPhone 2 years ago and knew she has a habit to drop stuff. Put it in a silicone back case and a screen film on the from. Dropped numerous times but still not cracked. When we swap it out later this year, remove the back case and film and will still look like day one. I think the screen replacement charge is ¥15,000 unless you still have some AppleCare left.

As a bit of a perve, when I'm on a train, I always took at other peoples phones to see what they are up to. Of course over 50% are playing that stupid game, but what strikes me most, is also, about 20% have cracked screens.

Haha, $200M to be scratch-resistant...

How much to be crack-resistant

...and no I'm not talking about the white powder Apple users sniff from the

surface of their iPhone.

It may be scratch-resistant, but from what I've seen of my friends' phones, it's nowhere near crack-resistant. Half of them seem to have a web of cracks on their screens from dropping, bumping and otherwise abusing their iPhones. They're so expensive to replace that they keep using them anyway...
