any report of iPhone 4 Reception Issues for the model sell in japan yet? the story in america has been all over the internet.

I wouldn't take anything about reception coming out of the US too seriously--you have to know that the only carrier, AT&T, ranks just below two tin cans tied together with string for reception and signal strength.

The iPhone 4 reception problem is a problem with the phone itself. It has nothing to do with the carriers. Basically, if you hold the phone with your left hand the signal bars drops from 4 to 1 or even zero. Apple's answer to the problem is to hold the phone in your right hand or buy their case, which is supposed to alleviate the problem. Unbelievable.

It's Sir Steve's email answer to the problem that is unbelievable arrogant.

It's not a bug - it's a feature!

HAHA! Steve Jobs says the reception problems with the iPhone4 are the fault of the users, not the design of the phone. Apparently all you sorry suckers who paid for the phone aren't holding it in the right manner!
This is a bold experiment by Jobs to discover just how far he can force people to conform to his wishes and his way of doing things.
