The research is progressing well despite the material sometimes getting stuck between the researcher’s teeth.

Shark attacks in littoral waters are rare, but in open waters, the probability increases several hundred fold.

Just ask any sailor or the crew of the USS Indianapolis.

This development however, seems like a huge improvement from the current chain mail style shark suits. Wetsuit bouyancy, flexibility and cut proof material would have a lot of practical applications.
