The Nook Tablet will allow users to surf the Web using Wi-Fi connectivity

Guess they will not be selling them in Japan unless you use it at home for your own wireless.

This country is actually WIRE LESS.

Yet another 'sell it less than cost' tablet. Amazon will lose heaps on the Fire, but will hope to gain on content.

This won't amount to much and cannot rival the iPad by any means. It COULD take a few buyers away from Amazon, but even then it seems a little bit late to be getting into the game with the same thing someone else has had for a few years now.

Not every tablet competes with the iPad just not like every car competes with the BMW 3-series.

Well said アメリ フセイン. Amazon is not truly competing with ipad. I think these two new pads (Nook and Fire) are far more specialized tablets. And they will do very well as niche products.

If you are in America, then the Amazon fire has to be really appealing given Amazon's vast catalog of movies and tv shows. I really think Amazon has a winner on their hands. I wish the best to the Nook as well.
