What about the sexbots and killerbots? And the waffling discussion of ethics concerning both. Such discourse simply being rhetorical, as, so to speak, the horse has left the barn.

It's a brave new world order. Sooner the better they download Elon Musk into a wired machine aka computer aka cyborg. Musk having watched too many episodes of Star Trek, with the Borg.

That Boston Dynamics 'robot dog' was featured dancing to a Motown medley last year on YouTube.

They already exist. The former 'speaks' due to A.I. and the latter is already in use by the military (at least by the US).

What about the killerbots?

Those are the robodogs with machine guns mounted on their backs. (https://www.newscientist.com/article/2293908-us-military-may-get-a-dog-like-robot-armed-with-a-sniper-rifle/)

There's also some that are built like 'iron men' but without heads. And don't forget the drone aircraft. The US has been using them for a few decades now and several other nations are using them as well. They shoot rockets, drop bombs, kill. If one of them gets shot down, all that is lost is some hardware, junk.
