The US is correct. Actually, I don't think they've gone far enough. I'd rather have a little pain with a cell phone network now than see people killed later. That's a literal killed later.

I don’t think faster cell phones should be the priority in our world. We have much bigger issues to focus on.

China bans THOUSANDS of foreign companies so they can grow their own domestically - while our leaders do almost nothing. We are only in this situation because the world is not going far enough to level the playing field. Chine must allow all foreign companies to compete fairly or their companies should be completely excluded form the international market!

A resounding yes on personal privacy and national security grounds. The Chinese government can legally access every single piece of information transmitted on those domestic 5G networks and handled by these three Chinese firms regardless of geographic location.
