Correct. But convenience will override security for 98% of humans. They just don't know any better and the liability to the client is limited, so they think "why not?" They forget all the other things their devices are connected with - emails, twitter, banking, pron sites, embarrassing photos ... and perhaps sensitive work information.

Myself never take any cards with me when out in the Town. Plus, places I visit you pay when you order.

How irresponsible is that.... here's my credit card while I get so smashed I cannot even remember it.

I use cold cash. I do get pretty messed up sometimes to the point that I talk to my penis in the toilet..... but I never leave a credit card behind lol.
