Not sure I mind Chinese companies having the same access to data on facebook as other companies do, provided they play by US rules (worthless as they are for personal privacy) for US residents.

The fact that so many Americans are willing to give this (or any other) corporation so much information about themselves and their friends, co-workers, spouses, children and even grand-children astounds me. We've become a nation of fools.

It's supposedly Free???!!! ….“Life calls the tune, we dance”..... Facebook is a “stand and deliver” highway robber to everything you hold dear, your movements, your purchases, and ultimately your privacy.

Facebook and Twitter are an anathema, a modern day data highwayman, personal, business, a pickpocketing statistical powerhouse.

However Facebook etc etc, are a masterclass in innovation and business organisation.

I could harp on, however the USA has an exceptional sixth sense for delivering technical expertise professionalism. Strangely not in automotive engineering, although design is another matter , Corvette Stingray 1963.....??

Speaking in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said she would not comment on cooperation between companies and knew nothing of the situation.

"But we hope that the U.S. side can provide a fair, transparent, open and friendly environment for Chinese companies' investment and operational activities," Hua told reporters.

Lol, like in China?
