American Dream Federal Action, a super PAC financed by a cryptocurrency CEO, saturated the district with ads promoting Houchin as a “Trump Tough” conservative who would “stop the socialists in Washington.”

I remember in the 2016 campaign Trump accused Hilary of being beholden to Wall Street in his populist appeal and promised to get their influence out of politics. That never happened of course.

Big crypto probably already has an influence on politics, like other finance.

The alternative is repealing the Citizens United ruling and getting big corporate money out of politics again.
