Dish abandons Sprint bid, clearing way for SoftBank

because of the recent NSA spying scandal going on, do you think Dish might drop their bid, thinking that the US govt might overturn their earlier approval to block takeover of Sprint from Softbank? then Dish can buy out Sprint for cheaper than their current bid.

I doubt that the recent NSA uncovering would affect the deal between Softbank and Sprint. What might happen, which Softbank said as part of their bid, is that they will have to have one or more board members who was put on the board by the US government.
