NTT Docomo said Thursday that the company’s mobile subscribers surpassed 60 million as of March 12. The figure includes customers who subscribe to Docomo’s LTE, 3G and 2G mobile services.
Docomo has continued to add subscribers by expanding its lineup of smartphones and tablet devices in this fast-growing segment of the mobile market. Also, the company has stimulated demand for second devices by introducing new data communication devices, mobile Wi-Fi routers for the Xi (read “crossy”) LTE network, and Otayori Photo Panel wireless photo frames.
