Huh? Some more info needed.
Where are the eclipses going to be seen from? Can one really just go around creating artificial solar eclipses? Is this a joke?

It is all explained in the article. One of the crafts casts a shadow on the 2nd craft creating a solar eclipse for the telescope in the 2nd craft.

150 meters? Make it a few million kms and cause a total eclipse. Global warming solved! _
