The CPC are masters at control. This is by design. The foreign entities that are welcomed will stay.

China loves money. If you’ve got some, you will be treated very well like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley. These are all at some stage of taking full or fuller ownership of what used to be securities industry joint ventures with Chinese partners. BlackRock is being welcomed like never before to manage wealth.

On the other hand, Yahoo! Google and tech companies offer little because of the existence of their Chinese equivalents and they merely collect data and will be treated like Huawei is treated: data collecting potential threats to national security.
