Personally, I use my mobile phone (non-smartphone) in Japan for FB -- reading posts, posting comments, and even sending/receiving messages.
The question is: with the recent article regarding Andriod viruses/malware on the rise, does FB-HTC have a contingency plan for this? Or are we just risking our personal accounts' security for social mobility?

There are other options to smartphones other than Android. In fact, Windows Phone has the best Facebook integration.
