Gotta start greasing the palms in Japan, too!

Could Facebook do what no foreign company has ever been able to do in Japan?

I don’t mean joining that group. I mean actually making changes in this country. While there are many foreign companies here in Japan, you can hardly call any of them influential.
Amazon and Facebook are considered bullies in the rest of the world. Especially in the political world. Right now, Amazon is finding out that they have to conform in Japan. Can Facebook and amazon combine and actually form some kind of influence here?
