Panasonic ramping up ties with academia on human-assisting robots

That third arm looks like the result of out-of-the-box thinking. Maybe it's good, maybe it isn't, but I applaud the idea of wearable robotics not being restricted to improving what the body has already.

The guy with the helmet looks like the character of The 8 Tomb Village. The only thing missing is the lights on the helmet.

Reckon a great many men would rather have a third-leg than a 'third arm' (to play football, walk faster etc).
