Honestly, Chinese artists are still heavily copying Japanese art styles and contents. I didn't see anything really unique and original from them.

"Fox Spirit Matchmaker" is absolutely your typical anime with stereotyped art style, storytelling and contents in general. I don't even know why it's so popular in China. The female protagonist is the kind of female protagonist that I hate the most (a generic moe "loli").

Guess theme of oppression, evil government, revolt and revolution of any kind must be avoided at all costs. Must be hard to come up with good plot with so much censorship.
