A young person wondering what to study might consider the field of micro electronics, if there is such a thing.

Semiconductors should be made like Origami. Then folded into a tiny mass. Origami is also very important for satellites.

I ran a chip making facility in 1978 for a year. Bad job. Too many chemicals.
