Trying to fake being good at games is understandable, pathetic but understandable. After all it is well known that CEOs frequently have a trend towards lying and pretending to be much more than what they actually are.

The part where this becomes difficult to believe is that Musk believed he could fool professional gamers during a live stream, that would indicate he lacks completely any awareness of his complete lack of ability. Fooling others? Part of what every billionaire does. Fooling himself? that is a much more serious problem.

musk made a bet with sam harris at the beginning of the covid pandemic, saying that covid was nothing. musk said no more than 35,000 cases would occur. the bet was $1 million. weeks later, over 35,000 deaths and 600,000 cases. musk reneged, and mercilessly mocked sam harris online as an idiot on all things in a childish feud.

Happy that many are waking up to the reality behind Musk and his fakes. Once your worth billions of dollars you can buy anything, including top gamer accreditation. Wonder who really plays his accounts, how much they earn and what "non disclosure" agreements they signed to always keep it quiet.

Gamers value authenticity more than success. If one fails doing something in a game but in an honest attempt, s/he'd get more props than if s/he succeeded while cheating

If Musk had just said he's just a regular gamer and doing all that high-level stuff, gamers won't care even if he paid someone to grind for him

The public spat led to an avalanche of comments that labelled Musk a "man-child" and lampooned his "fragile ego," while many previous fans added that the billionaire had lost their trust.

Now this is just being petty

Makes people wonder that if Musk goes so far to lie and be petty on something as inconsequential as this, how far would he lie and be petty on something that actually matters

Elon Musk has finally admitted to cheating in Diablo 4 and Path Of Exile 2 by paying people to level up his accounts for him.

Last year, Elon Musk shared a video of him clearing a level 150 pit in Diablo 4 before claiming he was one of the best players in the world. Then, earlier this year, he confirmed he was behind one of the highest levelled hardcore characters in Path Of Exile 2.

However during a Twitch stream, he seemed confused by the game’s basic mechanics, causing a number of fans to accuse him of cheating. He denied it at the time but has now admitted that those achievements are not solely down to him.

The saga of Elon Musk secretly account boosting Diablo 4 and/or Path of Exile 2 characters may be over, as he’s admitted outright he’s done so, along with possibly using Real Money Trading for gear.

In a new video going over DMs with Elon Musk directly, YouTuber NikoWrex said he was given permission to share what he said about his gaming prowess, or lack thereof.

To think, the richest man in the world is falsely presenting himself as one of the top-ranked players in not one but two games that's inconsequential - when he cheated in every single way possible might be one of the most embarrassing things for his credibility

What's more the way he reacted, that Musk got so upset about being called out (for what he now admits to be true) that, if he was really being honest about playing, he even removed the Twitter checkmarks from numerous creators who just reacted to the video (and he charges people for those checkmarks!)

That didn't happen

And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
