The so-called "flaw" is the least of our worries/problem.

Recently some people misunderstanding facts and history have started to cause trouble and AI images are being used as part of this trouble making.

The remake of the TV series Shogun is being attacked because it doesn't have any " Black Samurai" (AKA black African).

The reasoning, rumours and so-called historical facts behind the claim there were black samurai at the time of the show are a mishmash of multiple different stories from Japanese history taken out in pieces and creating a convoluted fantasy.

But to back up these claims from those accusing the TV show of rewriting history to "remove black people" are AI generated images like the following.

Claiming to be that of actual black samurai family.

Most people figured out quickly it was fake but that didn't stop the "believers" in spreading it as real!

Yes other methods could have been used to create a similar image but the speed and accuracy would the AI did this in could be matched.

We are in for a bumpy ride in the future

"Essentially, it was too 'woke,'" said Joshua Weaver, a lawyer and tech entrepreneur, meaning Google had gone overboard in its effort to project inclusion and diversity.

As any programmer knows, garbage in, garbage out.

I love how his wife's skull and jaw bone don't match (at all) and he has no top-knot. The kid has the right expression on his face tho.

The images of black Nazis and similar were so crazy that people noticed. And predictable Googles woke AI will be toned down so it is less obvious... but actually more dangerous because more people will not notice the influence. Wait for massive misleading election "information" by Google at al once the US election rolls around.
