Google CEO calls for regulation of artificial intelligence

There is no comparison. As awful as Google and Facebook are, they cannot bust into your house at night armed with guns and throw you into prison for life. Governments can and do, though. That's why they are happy to regulate tech companies - so they can control them and take advantage of their resources. It's the big wolf telling you you have to watch out for the weasel.

IF the proposed regulations allow a government to use the resources of tech companies for any such purpose then yeah, those should be opposed.

But is that what is actually being proposed or is it just hysteria? Regulations that place limits on how AI is used or developed by private corporations does not put control of that Ai into the hands of government at all.

I call for regulation of Google CEO's intelligence!!!

Try to copy and paste in the notes of the Google Contacts in your Windows 10 Pro computer and you will understand me! Try to write and edit Google reviews in your Android phone and you'll see! Count how many elementary glitches Google has! Count how many childish projects Google started and failed!!!

Look at China and their oppressive social credit system. Facebook can't do that. But a government can.

Classic behavior from every large company. Once they reach a dominant market position they start calling for onerous regulations which they can afford to comply with but their competitors cannot.

I can't imagine a standard on AI.

The way AI works is that you don't know how it works.

AI is nothing more than an input-output mapper black box.

So how do you regulate a black box?
