Google has many more cases to come, this has been an issue for a long time.

There's a legal precedent at least, i.e. the Standard Oil case. The Sherman anti trust laws are still on the books just waiting to be tested again.

Consumers could use other search engines if they wanted. Seems like Microsoft and Apple are trying to take over everything. Apple can’t even install things you want and software they get a cut of everything. They actually are involved against them? Now that’s the kettle.

Along with Google, all US companies. TikTok must not be bought out, otherwise you can add it to the list of predatory US companies who are threatening people's freedom.

Tik Tok should be broken up as well, and since that is stuck in PRC hands, that is impossible atm.

Rather than destroy the provision of free services online, they should use this as an opportunity to change patent laws, so that patents must be open to all for a sum linked to their profits, and not weaponised to block competition.
