It look like buying Brain Cancer for $ 1500. I don't want to be Guinea Pig for Google project. If mobile phone is causing Brain tumor and then you have to think about wearing Google Glasses which connecting Internet.

I must honestly say that I share many of the concerns mentioned above, with that said however, I will be assimilated. New tech is really cool, it's users who cause the problems.

In 10-15 years these will seem quaint. New tech is always disparaged, computers were, as were mobile phones.

There's a certain bar in Seattle that has already promised a good beating to any "glass-@oles" that are fool enough to enter the premises. Whatever happened to valuing privacy?

Then there is the issue that social isolation is already terrible due to people retreating into their devices instead of interacting with live relationships. One more way for people to get lost from reality. Bad idea!

Google Glass is supposed to perform many of the same tasks as smartphones, except the glasses respond to voice commands instead of fingers touching a display screen.

Don't want to be critical but I hope they have developed the technology well enough to work properly. Most I have seen is unreliable enough to be considered a failure.

Also, will there be any adverse effects to having a big antenna wrapped around your head?

I don't think "hidden camera" is accurate. It might be out of the way, but it hasn't been "hidden." Even if others can't see it, they'll be able to see what you are wearing on your face. The concept sounds cool, but there's no info on battery life or storage capacity. If it's all cloud-based, then your head will be swimming in constant Wi-Fi.
