The ad looks like the people in charge of publicity came up with a good idea "make the tool give a little help to a child to express an nice idea better" and the people in charge botched it to push the tool as the only thing of importance "make the tool write the whole thing so people see they can pretend to be creative without any effort".
Sometimes I get surprised about how disconnected the executives at big tech companies can be and how strongly they push for AI while regular people simply dislike the thing a lot.

Tech companies need to ensure that the right people are in place to veto daft stuff like this. Corporates often hire and promote badly, suppressing the consequent failures. But big tech operates in the public gaze, with many all too ready to go viral with criticism. They have no margin for error, and need to ensure competent, experienced staff check anything that is going to go public, before it does.

this can't be stopped. We won't look the same. We are turning into non-humans and we will not become better and more humane. We ourselves don’t know what we want and we still don’t know where and why we came into this world. Until we find out who and where we came from, we will not be able to take the right steps and actions.
