Useless unless it has Japanese to English option
MissingCylonModel
It does have a Japanese to English option.
Funny thing is - all the photos in the article are from Word Lens, an app that has existed for two years or so and is NOT the google translate.

Just tried it on my Nexus 7, works fast and well.
Japanese to English and vice versa is very fast, now to try more languages like my mother tongue.

If it is anything like their Google translate text based app, then prepare for a lot of misunderstandings and even offence.
