It's called a Compute Stick. Intel just recently premiered it this January's CES 2015. Here's what it looks like:

sounds like cheap gomi for non computer users. Though if all you want to do is blog, watch cute videos, etc it is the device for you!

Should have on-screen keyboard.

The 'perfect upgrade' for an existing laptop? Not if the OS keeps changing all the time. I can just imagine the incompatibility nightmare.

I doubt Google would pull an April Fool's joke like this, and for $100 sounds great, do hope they have the keyboard etc...

Sounds cool but the Asus word looks to close to anus.

If they 'unveiled it', where's the photo?

how wonderful it is! a stick / pen computer - bravo!
more detail on how it'll work from a monitor would be nice.

I assume you'd have to pack along a keyboard, which reduces mobility quite a bit. I wonder what the keyboard interface will be? Not Blue Tooth, I hope. I assume the OS is Android.

It's already being manufactured.

A fine example of 'Press Release' reporting! How about holding off until you know it's real?
