Google will have to obey the law in Texas. If they ban medical tourism for abortion, Google may only be able to permanently relocate staff.

No company can operate in a politically partisan manner. Expecting them to is juvenile. Eventually the bad guys will get in and get their revenge.

Americans might not like it, but half of them are now in the same boat as Afghans, the Burmese, Chinese, Russians and Hong Kongers. The rights of a substantial proportion of them have been stripped away by their leaders. To recover them, they will have to move. The next wave of refugees from state oppression may be American. And if the Republicans win the next election - which is looking increasingly likely, losing Roe v Wade will just be the tip of the iceberg.

Hundreds of Google employees are petitioning the company to extend its abortion healthcare benefits to contract workers and to strengthen privacy protections for Google users searching for abortion information online.

How about requiring counseling first before hiring the contract workers, to see if they are prone to engaging in risky behavior?

How about requiring counseling first before hiring the contract workers, to see if they are prone to engaging in risky behavior?

Given all the recent reports of the behavior of Musk and the Google founders and other tech heads, they would not pass any screening for risky behaviors.

Musk is the one doing monkey business.

How about requiring counseling first before hiring the contract workers, to see if they are prone to engaging in risky behavior?

Who, in this bizarre experiment of pre-employment 'counseling', decides what 'risky behavior' is and what kind of invasions of privacy will be required to determine who has engaged in them?

Abortion protections! Sounds great...oh wait, protection for the aborter? Ah, I see, not for the little one.

Abortion is not healthcare. It's the only medical procedure I know of in which one person is guaranteed to die.
