Uhh ok, if the accused is guilty then punish them. You look like an enabler if you give them a payout, but that may be a legal thing.

Too bad you couldn't get pictures of the Tokyo walkout for JapanToday.

We've gone on for too long assuming that white-collar workers will never need to organize. I hope a realization is blooming in the minds of each of these folks who walked out today ... there's a reason unionized labor exists and a reason it will need to continue to exist.

Ending arbitration is important because it protects the harasser by keeping the findings secret (making it hard on each individual employee who reports harassment). Good luck!

What would you replace arbitration with? A massively expensive trial where the employee could be on the hook for tens of thousands in legal fees if they lose? Many employees would abandon legitimate claims if faced with this uncertainty. Arbitration is simply an efficient way to keep everyone's costs down. Even without arbitration most of these cases would settle with a confidentiality agreement.

Most of the Google engineers who walked out are men

Most of Google's job applicants will still continue to be men

Google has allowed a SJW culture to grow within its ranks. HR will try to take over the company from here on out. Good luck virtue signallers!
