Maybe not so much a question of agreeing but one of understanding. The article suggests it's safer for those who use passwords such as password123. And also that the problem of using passwords such as erVex411$% (or Noon-Whisper-Burn-By-2) is that they're hard to remember. Does that imply that complicated passwords are safer if you have a method of remembering or accessing them? It would be helpful to see a list of pros and cons in articles such as this.

Don't do this. Boycott it and stick with (long, secure) passwords. Do not help to create a dependency upon a Google technology. It also makes you more dependent upon other tech like 2FA or biometrics, excluding more people who do not or cannot use them.

If this takes off, Google will try to make it the exclusive option for access to sites and services.

Use longer, complex passwords, and use different ones for each site.

So someone like me with no media accounts, ie twitter, facilebook or what ever, nor a modern mobile like an smart phone would find this impossible to use. I am dreading the day when I might have to buy a smart phone. I am already so tired of seeing nearly everyone walking around with their eyes glued to their phones, no wonder social inter reactions are failing badly . NO one talks to any more.
