Invisible man: German startup bets on remote driver

Today's technology absolutely sufficient to safely operate this mode of transportation. One interesting point though is that these vehicles are equipped with high value sensors (Lidar, cameras, radar, computing, etc) so allowing humans to order and then drive these vehicles has insurance implications likely yet unknown.
