The standard XS starts at about $1,000; its supersized cousin, the XS Max, goes for $100 more.

I have a feeling the standard XS isn't going to sell as well. People are going to go for the Max or the XR. That's what I think. Personally, I'm getting the Max.

The screen itself is worth the extra $250, if you're spending that kind of money on the phone to last you years why cheap out like that?

I have an iPhone SE and I'm not buying another Apple phone until they come out with one smaller than the current offerings, or I will get another brand. I don't want to carry a mini tablet around.

I think the iPhone x was the last good innovation Apple had. Left Apple last year to an Android phone (Samsung's S9). In Japan I use Line to communicate with others so I wasn't in that Apple ecosystem.

Now I'm thinking about moving to Huaweii's phones. So many options once I switched to Android. Including the Nova Launcher which makes everything on the screen customizable.
