Japan eyes setting up site to recycle rare metals

Speaking it and doing it are two different things. Japan has a history of unable to accomplish the latter.

Many places take old electronic items for recycling. I always deposit my stuff at those places but beware of theft of data.

Sounds like a really smart idea, Japan. If you do it, do it right, and reap the benefits safely and efficiently!
