Oh wow! And by fortuitous coincidence and creative problem solving ... by approve institutions ... this can be linked to the coming vaccine passports and contract tracing ... and voila!

There will be no demonstrations, disruptions, or dissent against any agenda of the corporate nation state.

Sounds like a familiar tune in another single party system just east of us.

Facial recognition now being a complete fail due to masks. Almost as stupid an idea as 711 who have introduced tills that you need to touch multiple times to choose your payment method, adding an avenue for the virus to spread, when previously you just had to say your payment method to staff and touch nothing.

Facial recognition - ah, that will never be abused....

@uktokyo naah bro, they work even when you wear masks with 99.86% accuracy.

The patent application looks good:

"A system for recognising a face, wherein: a camera records a person's face, the camera prints the face onto polaroid paper, the paper being sent by fax to an 80 year old man in a dusty office, said man who looks through a binder of photos of 126,000,000 people to try and find a match for the polaroid, and, upon finding it, telephones his section chief who comes and affixes his seal to said polaroid, and the 80 year old man faxes back said polaroid to the operator of the camera".

Facial recognition does not work. It is still vaporware and will be for some time to come.

"Facial recognition now being a complete fail due to masks. "

Do you keep your mask on at all times?

While eating?

Drinking?

Brushing teeth?

Showering?

Sleeping?

Out in the open?

The banking group will test whether it is possible to use the system to make deposits, withdrawals and transfers as well as purchase investment trusts at some of the Resona Bank branches without passbooks or cash cards in the fiscal year starting next April.

Some banks already require fingerprints for new accounts. Minority Report anyone? Cosmetic surgery, popular in some regions, will have a new wrinkle...

"But if during any of these activities we are to have a camera watching us and trying to identify us, society will have taken a turn for the dark."

But you also know this is not what this article (hence my questionnaire) is all about.

Will you be dealing with bank payments 24/7, every day?!

You've been caught.

Simples.
