“this case has always been about more than patents and money,” and that it was “about innovation and the hard work that goes into inventing products that people love.” Yeah, riiiiiiight....

Apple just can't compete.

Since Samsung can't rip off anymore lavishly as it did before, its line of smartphones will have to have a life of their own now. What Samsung have done to supply this lack of "somebody else's ideas" is to fill its gadgets with gimmicks, which was disastrous, as in the case of Galaxy IV. Galaxy V makes no splash, lots of gimmicks again, ugly, and worse, running Samsung's own idea of problematic Android. In short, barring Samsung is allowed again to steal ideas, it's gonna be the next BlackBerry. Well, at least, BlackBerry kept some of its class. Something Samsung does not have.

" I don't use any phone but I think more than 300 million iPhone users would disagree with that?"

Look at the global market share.

" By manufacturer

In 2013, Samsung set at 31.3 percent Shipment Market Share, a slight increase from 30.3 percent in 2012, while Apple set at 15.3 percent in 2013 and decrease from 18.7 percent in 2012. Huawei, LG and Lenovo set at about 5 percent each and significant better than 2012 figures, while Others set at about 40 percent or same with last year figure. Only Apple loss its market share, although the shipment volume in one year still increase by (small) 12.9 percent, but the rest increase significant in shipment volume by 36 to 92 percent."

Apple is losing its former grip on the market.
