Apple patents everything. Some of these Patents stifle competition ... icons on desktop vs icons in grid on screen... rounded corners to phone. Double-click, Swipe, etc.

An Apple now admit that their phones did bend, after years of denying it. The Company is completely untrustworthy.

Surely the "rows of icons" are a feature of the software, not the hardware. The software is made by Google, not Samsung.

The screen itself does not have rounded edges, but the phone's body does. It seems ridiculous that a patent could be granted for rounded edges. I have on my desk a calculator with rounded edges that predates the iPhone. These nonsense patents should be invalidated.

We all remember the first Iphones, the first Ipads. And we knew the technology would not stand alone with Apple, and it didn't. But Apple still came up with these great features before anyone else did. What I'd like to see with the win Apple got here, (you wonder how much lawyers get in something like this..) is that Apple put some serious monies into the communities in North California where people are unable to collect insurance on their homes, because the units are still standing, but are also unable to move back in due to the fire damage in the areas the homes are in. Anyway, these people have been torn up by the fires, and the state, even with it's 18 billion dollar surplus, well, it's kind like the House of Representatives...things don't go so well for the middle class when the state senate gets together....

Was not Microsoft sued also for putting icons on the desktop that looked like Apple's original?

Samsung runs Android, Apple is only suing Samsung because they can't sue Google. Talk about a patent bully

Well, Mr. Hund it seems that some compatriots active on this forum don't agree with you :)

One of the few points I agree on with the T administration is questioning the offshore money kept by the big Tech firms to avoid more tax in the US [ and elsewhere].
