Yes, I definitely noticed that Linkedin's UI became a usability nightmare since the company was acquired by Microsoft. Also it became really annoying and intrusive.

Time to delete my Linked-In account ? It'd be a sad thing to do, since until recently it has served it's purpose well, for keeping up to date with former colleagues whom I liked, and to watch how they progressed through their careers as they moved about.

Nowadays, Recruitment agents can pay for access and it's sort of led to the decline in quality of "the Recruitment agent" .. previously a real "agent" would understand the Client and represent them well, and the employer would get good value for money, nowadays it's really hit and miss, yet in Japan you still need to be careful as "some" Agents, have retainers with Companies, so you cant apply to that same company for another position unless the original agent who submitted your details applies upon your behalf... a completely messed up market-place situation imo.

Turned everything off for LinkedIn. It only serves as a database for me.
