Im looking forward to the Praystation 5

These are always incremental improvements - nothing jaw dropping. Not to mention all the really great games are only found in the US and EU, not Japan (unless you like love/dating sims).

Huh? What? So many great games other than love/dating games can be found in Japan.

Sidenote, i never was into Flight Simulator but the new one looks absolutely gorgeous.

I pretty much only play Halo 1-4 and that is rarely. I won’t be rushing out to buy a new console.

So, it would the Xbox One X was a bit of a flop. Kind of like Microsoft Windows 8 and Microsoft Zune. Who remembers the Zune? Nobody of course.

I am not a Xbox user but I have serious doubts on whether you could engineer anything better, could you? So your judgement of this product of being not jaw dropping is at best ridiculous since also you did not try it yet.

Well the Playstation 5 (not Praystation lol) will be based on the same internals, CPU, GPU and memory subsystem as the next Xbox, custom-designed by AMD. So the systems will be very similar in terms of the hardware and raw performance as they actually are already today with the current generations.

So, it would the Xbox One X was a bit of a flop

Not taking into account only the Xbox One X but all models, so far, the PS4 has sold 92.64 million units lifetime, the Xbox One 41.48 million units, and the Switch 30.65 million units. The Playstation 4 is clearly a leader in sales, but I don’t think that the Xbox One in general could be called a flop. The Nintendo Wii U only sold 13.56 million units lifetime in comparison.

Microsoft's goal is to provide access to the game to as many people as possible so that the game can be played anywhere and on the platform chosen by the player. The product name will probably be revealed around E3 2020 a year later. Details revealed at this point: AMD Zen 2 / Navi architecture custom processor / GPU, GDDR6 memory, "40x faster" SSD storage adoption that also functions as virtual memory, processor is "4x faster", up to 8K resolution, ray tracing, 120fp refresh rate. It will be released along with the latest Halo series "Halo Infinite".

The titles to be released in the future were also announced.

"The Outer Worlds", "Breeding Edge", "Ori and the Will of the Wisps", "Minecraft Dungeons", "Star Wars JEDI:FALLEN ORDER", "BLAIR WITCH", "Cyberpunk 2077", "Spiritfarer", "Battletoads", "RPG TIME!", "Flight Simulator", "Age of Empires II Difinitive Edition", "Wasteland 3", "LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga"

It sells better than the PS4 Pro

That's because the jump from base XB1 to XB1X is more significant than going from base PS4 to PS4 Pro

But like Google Stadia, Microsoft is also going game streaming with Project xCloud that doesn't need a console, just an online device like your mobile

And Sony's gonna be doing the same thing using the same Microsoft Azure cloud

Do not require the internet. Some people get console games because computer games now all require the internet. Some people live in the boonies with little to no signal.

Zichi:

Then you are blessed. My only internet available where I live is cell phone. Sometimes the indicator says 4g, but other times 3g (but it really means 56kb/sec. In either case, the speed has never exceeded 700kb/sec (yes, kilobytes)...and that is rare (average is 100kb/sec.

By all means have the option for internet, but don't require it. Not every game needs to be an MMO. Sometimes I just want to play with npcs on local console.

If you work in the software industry, then you know the PS4 Pro was much less of a leap than the Xbox One X was.

Essentially, the PS4 Pro was a knee jerk reaction to TSMC's notification that they would stop producing the 28 nm chip versions and told both Sony and Microsoft to move to 16 nm process.

Sony had little reason to move to the 16 nm because its 256 bit wide memory controller layout meant there was little die size savings to be made even after moving to 16 nm, so Sony has decided to just put another same GPU core onto the chip and make it an SLI configuration. This is why old PS4 games that are not specifically coded for this GPU SLI do not run faster on the PS4 Pro.

By comparison, Microsoft decided to completely redesign the Xbox One chip for the 16 nm process and put a totally new GPU core in the Xbox One X, this is why the Xbox One X destroys the PS4 Pro in gaming performance.

Gone is the arrogant Microsoft gaming division that proudly claimed that they won the gaming world and would focus on media streaming service with the launch of Xbox One.

The new Microsoft gaming division is a well funded and deep pocketed organization determined to outpower Sony and establish a gaming monopoly once and for all.

Hardly. I'm in my forties and spent much of my youth playing the hell out of computer & console games from the Atari 2600 onwards. Many games are excellent for practicing problem solving & sharpening reactions. I also spent a lot of time outdoors too climbing trees and making dens, but games were a big part of my youth.
