With the likely release of the iPhone 5 next week, good luck at your comeback Nokia... This phone will be in the news for a week, tops.

They should change their branding "lumia",sounds like a cfl bulb brand name. Why not go with the trend. Use food names, likes the one off apple,gingerbread,ice cream sandwich.

Does Google actually make phones???? I thought no (only providing the OS), so how can they have a market share when they don't build any hardware?

Lumia is a beautiful name. For a Finnish person it associates with snow, shining in the sun, maybe. However, if the phone to be successful worldwide, a more international association for a name should be used.

@malfupete Well they do make phones. In fact they own motorala mobility llc. They just recently unveiled new M Razor phones.

Despite being an Apple user for years, I am getting really tired of this "phone" war Android x Apple x Rim x Windows. ...I realise it's the media that has created and fed this war. No wonder it attracts fans from every side, but it's senseless. Totally.
