“We don’t want this to sort of be the next great time waster in the workplace"

What a way to rip into someone else's technology while assimilating it.

Who uses myspace anymore?

Myspace has become a refuge for up and coming musicians to showcase their talent. Their audience has dwindled though.

I feel Microsoft is trying to regain ground it lost to Apple. I am one who after trying mac OS can't return to Windows.

Another thing my user base at work will have no idea how to use. Half my users have a hard time trying to find the start button, let alone creating a shortcut! Maybe this will help them a little... hmm. :)

Just another attempt by Microsoft to monopolize the market and cut Mac users out of the picture. You can stick your Facebook and Myspace up your hard drive! It's about time Mac users released their own equivalent anyway. Oh, sh!t! Now, there's an idea!

I don't see how this is an Apple versus Microsoft thing. It's nothing more than an effort by Microsoft to stay relevant in a computing world that exists more and more independent of the operating system (read: not controlled by Microsoft).

(Or Apple, for that matter.)

Hm I don´t know if you really need social networking in Outlook, ok maybe someone likes it, but I don´t need this. The search function in Outlook is something which need an improvement. For that you have to use third party tools, like Lookeen! I like Lookeen, it is a perfect search tool and don´t wanna miss it, but I think before they upgrade Outlook with social networking there are more important things to do! Till then I stay with Lookeen!

OH boy, another million lines of code with holes to hack / patch and generally cause disruption and end user confusion. I like it entropy favored OS, work environment wont use it as it is another bad_hack vector into your privacy / businesses DB? . I have all the same info in 3 tabs of my browser ( which is not IE ). So what.
