Officials have warned companies must "respect the feelings of the Chinese people" and avoid "eating Chinese rice while smashing Chinese bowls."
I suspect there is a significant gap between the feelings and concerns of the Chinese officials and the people.
Musk will allow Trump back on Twitter but I wonder how far his commitment to "free speech" extends, which the alt-right is loving him for.
If he will allow censoring of anti-Chinese government speech to protect his business interests will he still be a champion of free speech?

Being uplifted from poverty is abuse? That's news to me.
Where's the uproar from the western governments about abuses against Palestinians? A Christian American-Palestinian journalist was shot in the face and murdered, or should I say died recently?

Something not right about Musk

Naw, the guy has always been out there and ran against the grain, that’s why he’s so popular.

Is that the one which always gets lost in the laundry?

China is only interested in Tesla for as long as it takes to acquire all the technology then they will forcibly take over the whole operation ignoring any Tesla owned patents.

Well isn't that how Ford, Edison/General Electric, Bell/AT&T, etc..all get their starts?

Ohhh, the left...
The partisan hackery is convenient diversion.
Will the right continue to embrace Musk if he allows Trump back on Twitter but allows censorship of post critical to the Chinese government in line with Xi's edicts to protect his economic interests in the PRC?
Free market capitalism or free speech; which is it going to be?

I think Musk is devastated after the realization that all of his followers are actually just bots.

...or not, he doesn't know anything because these programmers won't show him any of the algorithms. Once he gets his hands on that and sees it, then he will know who's real, and who's not.

No, not at all. In fact far from it. All of them were closer to Tesla, creating a product using a new technology and figuring out how to mass produce it at a profit. None of them had a government stealing the intellectual property of other nations and feeding it to them to undercut their competition. They were the innovators who were in time widely copied.

Honesty, that's what's missing in today's world.
Musk, Bezos, China, japan, USA are all part of this world too.
