... And get rid of the ugly, flat design while you're working on it! The idea that displays are some sort of hardware with UI 'printed' onto it just doesn't work!

At first, the flat design was really strange, given it was disparity in a world of image 3D enhancement. But, as usual, Apple is proving to be ahead of times. More and more companies are sort of copying the Apple-flat style in their logos. Here in Brazil the most outstanding is Rede Globo TV logo, which went Apple-white and lost some of its 3D depth.

@CGB Spender, it's hard to tell if you're being sarcastic or not with no emoticons.

What a waste of time, can't believe apple tries to hype up new software features. Seriously desperate there apple. Apple fans want hardware

@MissingCylonModel I'm not being sarcastic. I find the flat look on iOS 7 very ugly.

Most of my Apple user friends are using devices that are five years old or older. Apple is a victim of its own success. Their products are so far shed of the pack and updatable and reliable they are doing themselves out of the market. I can't think of any Microsoft product that is still current technology after five to eight years of use. Many of my friends still have the original intel iMac from 2006, which still does everything. If Apple seriously want to survive they need to attract more users and not service current ones.

Actually, it's difficult to update OSX versions that are too old to the new OSX versions. The main recourse is just to buy a new Mac. They are reliable though, but if the new programs only work with the new OSX, then you're SOL.

It wasn't too long ago that people were complaining that Microsoft was ending support for WinXP, which is a dozen years old.

As usual, Apple fanbois are making ludicrous claims. The "flat" style was pioneered by Microsoft on Win8 and Windows Phone.
